No, you just get more expansion options (more pcie slots available etc), more fan headers (generally) and slightly better overclocking (better vrm due to increased space). But if you're after cheap boards then there is no difference really.

If they have the same chipset then no. Bigger size motherboard can have more components onboard such as USB3, M.2, SATA ports and so on. For example, this motherboard, Gigabyte X99M-Gaming would perform exactly the same as a ASUS X99 Deluxe if you put the same CPU in both.
