should get cheaper when it drops to 80$

I'm pretty sure the shipping cost stays fixed, regardless of how many people join the drop.

Anyway, I'm currently using this keyboard as my daily driver. That's mainly because I find myself liking black switches, for this is a good keyboard but not a perfect one. The RGB is limited to your choice of 1 of 7 colors. There's no software to do this, and so if you want to change an individual key's color, you do it one at a time, cycling through the 7 options. It can take a while if you want a lot of different color on your keyboard. Also, the brushed aluminum effect doesn't feel nearly as good as it looks.

Bu aside from that, its a very good keyboard from a functional standpoint. For it's price, I highly recommend it as a cheaper RGB mechanical option.

well, I'm going for it.

From what I've gathered so far it looks like those are some kind of cherry MX blue clone switch in the one I ordered. The only mechanical switches I've ever used was razer's so I guess that's what I'll be comparing it to. Maybe I'll do a review if I have time.

Had this keyboard for several months now and here's my thoughts. I have the Black Switch version and they feel pretty light to touch. Blacks are usually a bit harder to push so they almost feel like Red's. Mine has damaged RGB lighting, mainly on the right half of the board. Some of the keys don't match the others and a few keys don't display certain colors. It's mainly the 10-key on the right, the arrow keys, and a few of the keys to the right of the space bar. Another issue I have that I just noticed after hooking it back up is the cheap plastic risers to elevate the board. One of them completely snapped so now I have to use the board completely flat which kinda sucks. They also don't grip whatsoever so the board would just slide when elevated.

Having said that, the board is pretty good for what it is. It's not full RGB but gets the job done and doesn't require software to use. Had all my RGB lighting worked the same I'd be way happier but can't do much about it. Was gonna return for a full refund but just not worth the hassle considering the price of the thing.

Yeah seems to be the case. Don't be fooled by the aluminum look because the bottom is made of plastic.

To be fair, the bottom of a K70 is also plastic, I believe. But yeah, the E-Element keyboards certainly look better than they feel.

No issue with mine other than that it doesn't sit completely flat and can wobble if I press keys in one of the corners. Wad of paper towels under the corner fixed it.

I think the main reason I stick with this keyboard over the K70 is that this keyboard actually has a standard-sized bottom row, meaning getting PBT keycap replacements is possible.

Mine seems firm laying flat with the feet off. It doesn't wobble but slides slightly. It's really not a bad keyboard for the cost and you can change the keycaps like you said.
