Raid Controller Questions

So I was wondering if raid controllers could support 2 sets of drives, Like 2x250GB SSD's in raid 0, and 2x3TB HHD's in raid 1.

Shouldn't be a problem.

 

In that price range, you're far better of going with software RAID. A lot of the price of RAID controllers is due to the complexity of the controllers, cheap controller = bad performance.
