So, I install Bioshock infinite on my laptop on D drive (HDD), which has barely any space availible on it. It still fits in, with a few GB of air to breathe, so I just run the game and find out that my laptop's just too weak to run this game with enjoyable framerates, so I delete the entire game, I will play it on my desktop when I come home. Next morning I wake up, turn my laptop on and there's 2 GB of free space on my C: (SSD) drive. There was like 10GB the day before. What just happened? I deleted the auto-downloaded Windows 10, but there's still just not enough space. So, I sort the folders on the last date modified, like 3 of them result in September 23rd. The only large enough is C:Windows, which takes up 43GB of space on my C: drive. This is not a small amount of space in my opinion, what could be possibly in there? Is this natural? If you guys don't see what's the problem here, could you at least post your own C:/Windows directory sizes? Thank you.

My windows folders is 20Gbs, its a fresh install only a few days old tho.  Could it be system restore points or something to do with that, sometimes that seems to take up space.  I think you can limit how much space its allowed to use somewhere in the control panel.  Could not be the problem, im just thinking out loud lol.

When you say delete files. You mean complete delete or delete to recycle bin? Because recycle bin is located on system drive and you need to empty it.

I have my recycle bin on my D drive. And yes I emptied it before posting.

But guys, guys, guess what just happened. My computer crashed, restarted and I'm back here with 13GB of free storage on my C  drive just like before. C:/Windows directory is still 43GB though. I srsly don't know what the heck is going on w/ my PC.

Try using this: https://windirstat.info/

It'll scan your directories and see what is taking up the most space. It'll even search for hidden folders/files as well(such as Hibernation and Page File).

I just scanned my C drive and it says the Windows folder is only 13.5GB, if you want to compare here is a screenshot of mine: http://i.imgur.com/Ni34ebV.png
