PS4 and PS3 doesn't work with elgato HD

PS4 and PS3 doesn't work with elgato HD, I don't know what's the problem

But when I close the elgato program everthing goes fine

you have to use compenent cables because sony is filled with dbags and put some protection through the hdmi signal
you can bypass it with a splitter but it has to be a very special kind (its hard to explain let me try to find it for you) I had the same problem as you

 

edit: http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Port-Powered-Splitter-1080P/dp/B004F9LVXC found the splitter I use, I know for a fact this one will work and will bypass the protection sony has set

You may have to disable DHCP HPCP in system settings. This is possible on the PS4 at least.

 

EDIT: should have said HDCP not DHCP. Two very different things.
