Nvidia Pascal

magicammo

so I've been hearing more and more about and nvidias Pasca. Line of gpucoming out later next year and how they're going to be 10 times faster than Maxwell and what not what does that mean for gaming performance is this just going to wipe the table with Maxwell and just leave those cards hanging or is this directed towards a different audience . because since I'm getting my new rig around January or February I might just wait for Pascal if it's just going to wipe the floor with current GPUs

We don't know when it's coming out, but when it does, don't get it until its price drops.

Theyre not gonna be 10X better than Maxwell lmao good luck with that one.

Pascal is rumored to be dropping around Q3 2016

BUT I HEARD IT ON THE INTERNET FROM SOME UNINFORMED PERSON IT MUST BE TRUE

@Op it's gonna be the same thing we have every new release, somewhat decent performance increase @ launch, then after a few months we'll get something better again. Same shit happens every new series basically.

Remember everyone hyping up the Fury X? Then it flopped on it's face compared to what AMD and others were hyping it up to be.

There's no way it's going to be 10x faster. I predict the highest end cards will perform 50% better than the current high-end cards (980 Ti, Titan) in terms of gaming performance.

Will the upgrade be worth it? We'll have to see. For now, it's just speculation.

interesting I think I'm just going to go with the 980 TI and just wait until I can't game on it anymore and upgrade to whatever graphics card is out when I can't game on it anymore lol but the way they're making it seem Pascal is going to be amazing

That's thinking with your noggin!

The 980 Ti will be suitable for 1440p gaming for years to come. Don't count on a price drop either, they like to keep cards around the same price to screw over people who SLI.

lol yeah I made the mistake and purchase the GTX 980 the same exact day it was released and I paid almost $700 for it and now I can get one for around 450 and kind of salty about it lol and has been gaming at 1440p it's amazing but I'm giving my 980 to my dad and I'm going to pick up the TI.

Tell your dad he has to pay you $700 as it was the market price.

well now that I'm more familiar on how companies sell graphics card I'm always good to go with ASUS ROGthe design on their products are just amazing and plus if you wait a couple few months after they're released the prices drop and I think it's worth it if you want your computer to look sexy like I want mine too lol
