Some questions regarding Hyper 212 EVO

SunshineBob

Hello so until I will build my own custom loop I have Hyper 212 Evo on my 4790K but only one fan. As I have bought some corsair fans today I want to ask some questions regarding this CPU cooler. Now I want to do kind of push-pull thing so what should I use? I have bought Corsair 120mm SP and AF fans so now should I put Corsair SP in the push position (as it has more static pressure) and Corsair AF in the pull position? I do that in my case right now front is being static pressure fans and exhaust is being af fan. So does this work the same or should i put sp fabs for a pull position too?

SP120 in push and AF120 in pull is fine for performance but I'd go with both 2x AF120's for lower noise.

Thanks for your reply. My SP120's are Quiet Edition. :)

AF120's also come in QE's and are quieter than SP120's.

Honestly I've gotten to the point where I just buy my fans in pairs. I've got 2x identical fans case intake and 2x identical fans push / pull on my evo 212. Then I have adapters that tie each pair onto 1 fan header. It looks good and it keeps pressure even and my system quiet.

The evo has pretty low fin density I'd just go for dual airflow fans
