Who cares, they played us real good. They put a new stigma on diesel so even if it did burn really clean and gets really good mpgs, less people will buy diesel.

Frankly I'm not sure any less people can buy diesel lol.  Well, not in NA at least.  It may hurt their European sales quite a bit

VW go out of business? Like that'd happen any time soon. They're a huge company, one of the biggest in the world, it'd take a lot more than that to put them out of business.

 

 

Seriously though, I couldn't care tbh. VW dug their own hole and now it's coming back to bite them in the ass. It certainly wont stop me using diesel engines, I'll use them as long as I can, petrol cars are horrible to drive imo, no power at the low end.
