Ok, so im running a laptop with an AMD Card, but its quite an old card.

It supports:

1xVGA

1xHDMI

Im currently using the HDMI, but i CANNOT use the VGA and the HDMI at the same time!

I have a VGA Cable, but the hdmi cable is blocking the little screws on the side!

This is the problem, i have 1 Large TV that im using as a monitor, then i got 2 more Monitors (Akai 1080p Monitors 22" 60Hz refresh rate), 1 for my consoles (That are split using a Game Capture Card), and 1 for an extended monitor for my Laptop.

So for me to use the other monitor, i need to use the HDMI and VGA port, but i need a VGA Cable that does NOT have the screws! they are too wide and wont fit with the HDMI in!

Any ideas? i can only order from Amazon-UK unfortunatley, already tried looking but could only find normal VGA cables!

Can you afford a 750ti or so? For about $120 or so last time I checked,  you can use 3 monitors at the same time, and get quite a bit of gaming performance

@Abnormal69

Either of these methods will work. I've personally tried sawing the side screws off of a vga cable before. I wouldn't recommend sawing the metal part too since it takes more time.

Instead you should just saw the plastic parts off and rip it out once possible. You would be left with a metal part sticking out but you can easily bend this by using a hammer.

just pull the screws out with some pliers or cut out the molded plastic there, it shouldn't take a lot to pull them out with pliers.

or put them in a vice, take a screwdriver or other pointy metal object and smack it with a hammer, they should pop out the back.

right but its not just the screws, its the little bars next to the actual input is whats too long to fit, i will post some pictures in a few minutes D:

once you pop those screws out (ONLY DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK)

Just take a meat cleaver and set on the extra bit of plastic and smack it with a hammer, should cut it off clean after the metal is out.

or just buy a new cable :P

or even just get an adapter

these are the ports, theres just not enough space to have them both plugged in!

the pieces on the sides of the VGA Cable, are metal incased with plastic, and the metal is whats interfering also!

here ya go, this is what you are looking for i believe
