What setting should i set my D5 to?

It goes through over 10ft of tubing, has a height change of about 4 feet, a XSPC raystorm CPU block, and a HD7950 with EK waterblock, and a magicool dual 180mm Rad

Most times you can get away with putting it on the lowest setting but since you have such a long run maybe 50% or 25%, best is to see the flow rate back to the res if it's really really low then increase it to a reasonable level.

Most people just set theirs to 3, maybe go 4 if you like. It wont really matter too much, water will find its way through.

I have a D5 with a good amount of resistance. 2 GPUs, CPU, 2 rads, and I always set it on 3. You could get away with setting it anywhere from 2-4.

Best is to check temps if you notice them going higher and higher you probably have a flow issue, sometimes it's fairly obvious when the water level is low and there is very little turbulence on the inlet side of the res then there's most likely an issue with the length of the run and the amount of resistance.

Ok, ill try that.

Right now my load temps are only like 42, but its semi loud.

Though ATM it doesnt matter, at least not until i get a waterblock for GPU.

You should be good though even having it less than half the full speed the D5 is a pretty beast pump.

Ok.

Good, as in my home theater cabinet, i have the hoses going up and down a large amount of space.

Now I just need my GPU with waterblock im getting soon, then my PC will be virtualy silent, as the D5 pump is closed in a cabinet.

Maby some noise dampening foam too.

I can't see what setting mine is on with it mounted but I just used a bit from a screw driver and turn it down in till I literally couldn't hear anything from my pump which was something like 2460 rpm according to the reading from my motherboard, then I put my side panel back on and haven't looked back.

3.5 is the sweat spot.

Seems the best for me atm, my pump vibrates too much to have on full, the noise pisses me off.
