Hi, could some one tell me if this is a good set up.

i want it for games like cs:go, arma, h1z1, minecraft etc. this is my first build and have set a maximum of £600?

Get a cheaper case, a better GPU and a better PSU

An SSD would be a huge help for a mid-tier build like this, you pretty much owe it to yourself to get one. As for the GPU... I would save my pennies for something better down the road, to be honest. Even going to a 265 or a 270 would be a better bet.

An SSD would probably ruin the build, because of the budget, and a 290, yes it is/was a top end GPU, is way better than a 960. If you want an SSD, you can always buy one later.
