What's the standard for Android?

Since IOS has the iPhone and everyone relates Android to Galaxy. And God sin those who use shitty 50 dollar android phons then upgrade to a iPhone and share information about how much better iPhone is.

Should google so some marketing to fix the misconception that either Galaxy is android and that the phones will suck if you get cheap phones.

Maybe even standardize a minimum quality limit?

It's more of Samsung's aggressive advertising that influences the flagship Android device to be the Galaxy rather than Google being Google.

Linux is the standard. There is no minimum quality standard, because there is nothing stopping some company in china from compiling a version of Android that will run on a gravy boat or a toaster.

People who think Samsung = Android are just foolish masses.

AFAIK that 200 dollar quad core tablet was legendary at that point in time and is the only product that was heavily marketed

Andriod is the standard for Andriod, its an OS.

But there are manyyy manufactures who use andriod on their phones i mean people should be able to understand that?

Motorola or Nexus devices IMO. The One+ and the ZenPhone are close seconds.
