Should I stay with this monitor, or sacrifice the 144 HZ for a 60 HZ and get a 1440P?

Stay with this: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-g2460pqu

Or

Get a cheap 1440P monitor? Can you reccomend any, the max i'd pay for a monitor is £230 Although I don't mind going over a bit if it is worth it.

Thanks.

IMO 27" is size for 1440p and if you play games keep the 144hz monitor if you can justify the need for extra real estate than get an 1440

its really your opinion, your choice

I have a gaming rig with 1080p and my workstation has a 34 1440p ultrawide

The problem is that here are NO decent 1440p monitors that I'd consider cheap. In my opinion they are not worth the money at this stage. I would stay with 1080p until you can afford the jump to 4k (if you're fine with 60hz that is).

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I'd stay as frames make the experience so much smoother where as resolution is an extremely diminishing return, (aka the difference between 144Hz and 60Hz > 1440 and 1080)

Thanks, i'll probably stay with the 1080P; on a sidenote, what would you rate that monitor out of 10, just interested.

Assuming the contrast  is good and pixel change times are as fast as the refresh rate  nvm amazon messed up some numbers 9.4

8.5 because it's not ips and doesn't have freesync - other than that it's great for a 1080p.
