btw - the real deal will be the one after. Pascal is the same 28 nm chip but with A-sync compute - nothing to write home about

I see. Welp - okay.

On a side note

  • speculative: ~ 500-550mm² chip area
  • speculative: 4500-6000 shader units
  • speculative: 4096-bit DDR memory interface HBM2 (HBM2 interface factually certain)
  • confirmed: up to 32GB HBM2 memory (Gamer variants probably only 16 GB)

    If 4GB of HBM forces AMD @ 650$ - I want to see what the next 16 GB TItan is - 3k$ :D
