Medieval History help needed

 I remember a siege where a force of relatively few archers held a castle against 1 or 2 sieges. But I cannot remember which one it was. Any ideas?

I believe it was the War of the Roses in England - though It may be another war in England. I'm sure it was medieval era and in England.

All I remember was a very small force of Archers in Britain and at that time I was all about the War of the Roses era since I was looking through some books looking for the Crusades and found that.
