So I've had an iPhone5s for about a year now, but today it broke really bad in my pocket, chassis is bent and snapped, screen cracked etc. Is it possible that I can buy a new phone unlocked and then switch the sim out? Or would Verizon block it, since replacement phone charges are insane, if not I'm probably just gonna have this phone repaired.

Verizon doesn't allow non verizon phones, check ebay for VERIZON phones but you wont get a phone better then the 5s

Bend it back and replace the screen.

Well it is a little bit more complicated then that. I know replacing a screen on a iPad 1/2/3 is fairly easy, don't know about a 5s

The frame itself snapped, it's a bit too bent for just a bend back, and I think the display itself is damaged, not just the glass. Also, I was looking at buying a droid turbo that was unlocked, since that's a Verizon exclusive and it would be cheaper to buy an unlocked phone then saying I need a replacement (in theory).

(If it helps, I think the display itself has received damage because the screen is orange and discoloured near the cracks)
