Best Gaming Head set ?

so im looking around for a new gaming headset,, kinda have no idea what to look for tho,, Would like to keep it under $150 AUD

I have Rzer Chroma which is 99$. yea dont get these there are probably better ones

Does it have to be "gaming"? You will be able to get a better price and sound if you buy a separate mic and headphones

HyperX Cloud (i recommend v1 above v2) or Steelseries 9H are the mainstream headsets i have tested and liked the most.

 

Excellent build quality

Great comfort (i have glasses and a very sensitivity head i get pain from using siberia v2 and both the headsets work really nice with glasses)

Outstanding sound quality (for a mainstream "gaming" headset).

Why would you recommend the v1 over the v2?

Why would you recommend the v1 over the v2?

1. I have only used the v1

2. From what i have heard the v1 has slightly better build quality

3. The ANC (active noise cancelation) on the mic makes the voice sound less natural imo

4. The v2 are more expensive

5. Analog > half bad usb dongle (the usb dongle doesnt let the cloud sound the best it can)

6. I dont believe in the 7.1 headsets, simulated or "real".
