Windows 10 error

Pretty much since it's a brand new built pc

Where is the error showing up? 

 

Did you get the key separate from the USB? And have you got a spare USB laying around?

I have recently built my first PC

Problem is, when I attempt to download windows 10 off a usb which I bought at a store, it keeps coming up with the same error

0x80070002

Please help someone!!!

Your downloading what from where? 

 

Using the media creation tool yes?

When you buy windows, it comes on a usb now

I do have a spare usb and the key card came with it. It was an offical version

The error happens in the middle of getting the files ready for installation

Ok, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install Go there, download the tool and make another USB.

 

When it asks you for the key, give it the key, forget about the usb that can with the thing. Could of been copied onto the usb funny, or a problem with the USB, or it could be a problem with the computer for some reason. 

 

But do that so we can rule out the official USB :).

Unplug all your other hard drives apart from your Windows drive then try installing again.

It comes up with an error where it says 0x80070002
