h80i and the y splitter

hi guys.

I have an asrock z97 oc formula.

it hasa 4-pin cpu fan header and a 3-pin cpu fan header.

My AIO (h80i) has two fans and I like to connect both them to motherbard. In particular I'd like to substitute the stock ones with two NF-F12 to reduce noise ad upgrade the performances ;)

I haven'y got yet the AIO. Is it included a y splitter in the bundle?

The so-called y splitter could be a good choice for this problem? I know that the Corsair Link is buggy so I'd like not to use it.

Thanks

maybe I could use the y pwm cable within the nf 12 bundle?

You could do either way, really. The fans that come on it should be PWM (4-pin) so they Noctua fans SHOULD hook up the same way.

Or you could just bypass that and use the PWM headers on your motherboard with the splitter and have the motherboard monitor and control your fan speeds.
