how to transfer windows

hay guys how do i transfer my windows on my current computer to my new one thanks for the help

You install it fresh on the new computer using installation media (USB drive or disk), and entering your key. You don't copy it from one to another.

 

If it is a sticker on a computer that says "OEM" on it, this is technically breaking terms of use, but it will work. Otherwise you can grab a retail copy for 120 ish.

I use Acronis 2016.. works great for moving over windows to new system or new HDD/SSD
