please dont use the g3258, cause it will bottleneck most mid range cards (960 and up) and 2 cores is not enough for modern gaming

You could just use the stock cooler on a locked chip and save some money there

That's why there's a 285. I have a 280 and it's pretty good so a 285 should do pretty well also, despite having less vram. Most games don't even take advantage of more than one or two cores, so the CPU should be aig't and not too hot w/ a mild OC.

ut the fact being that stuttering and minimum fps is terrible on dual cores in most modern games. the stuttering combined with the horrible minimum fps pretty much kill the g3258 from playing games like gta v, far cry 4, shadow of mordor, etc.even though the gpu can run them

an fx? really?  the i3 in my build and the 270x will kill it. the fx series is still filled with terrible fps drops even showcased on this forum. and the i3 has a upgrade path to an i7.

@007agentHP i will most likely build the system without the video card and after i would buy a video card and i would be willing to spend more on it so can u give 2 or 3 choices for a low medium and high tier

r9 270x for low mid tier $150

r9 280x mid tier for $220

and a r9 390 for high tier  $300
