an fx? really?  the i3 in my build and the 270x will kill it. the fx series is still filled with terrible fps drops even showcased on this forum. and the i3 has a upgrade path to an i7.

I've never noticed that on my 6300

Honestly idc if my games studder a little. This is my first system, coming from console (specifically PS3 and XBone). I'm used to it. The only thing that stood out to me when I was *skimming* those threads is Photoshop in the second one, bc I spend a bunch of time in photoshop. I don't really need an upgrade that badly. Idk though, my dad wants to watercool my system for Christmas and that'll cost $400-500 US, and an Intel upgrade'll cost the same... idk where my head's at rn STOP MAKING ME CONFUSED IN MY OWN THOUGHTS GAWD

go for the intel upgrade. watercooling a $90 cpu is not worth it IMHO
