Any excessive amounts of dirt on either the plug or the port? What about the plug in the wall?

Check the status of your battery in the system report in about my mac.

is this what you need

The battery seems fine, so I'm guessing that the charging port is failing.

oh and in the picture the charging status changes from yes and to no

Seems like the connector cannot maintain the current.

Find another Mac and charger that has the original MagSafe. Connect your charger to that computer, and the other computer's charger to yours. Observe the differences.

sorry i was at school. i didnt get a carger with this one i bought it from a friend who lost the charger but i am using the one that came with my 2011 macbook pro that is the same charger just L style connector but there should be no difference between T and L style connectors
