Drop down to a 4790k and a Krait or something and get a 980 Ti.

Skylake isn't worth it.

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

So the 4790K would be a good processor for programming/gaming/video editing and such?

Also the motherboard,Im looking for that black,Proffesional look so is there any other motherboard which is similiar but cheaper?

Get a i5 4690k with a cheaper mobo and invest in GPU. You picked a 144hz monitor, you need dem FPSzzz. Also 16GB RAM is overkill so only get 8GB. Furthermore getting an SSD wouldn't hurt.

Oh also,What framerates would this setup get on the games?

You're looking at average 75FPS in Witcher 3 everything on ultra w/o Hair Works.

With the 980 you will probably get about 50 fps with max settings (everything) on witchery 3 1080p, maybe even higher. With the 980ti you will get like 80 fps on witchery max settings, maybe even higher xD

My advice is to not get a 92mm fan CPU cooler but that is just me.

Spoiler

I can run at 60fps. Sweet.

Loljk

Imo the difference between the 4790K and the 4690K is not worth it. the 4790K has Hyperthreading while the 4690K doesn't. Unless you do some video rendering, autocad and stuff, you really don't need Hyperthreading. Witcher would definitely benefit from Hyperthread but I haven't seen benchmarks on that so take my word with a grain of salt. Same with ram, unless you do video editing, photoshop, 1000 web tabs open, 8GB would be enough. 16GB to me is a sweet spot but that's overkill to some already.

Get an SSD if you want to do programming, it makes a big difference in load/compile times.

980Ti is better in FPS/$ than 980.

My setup runs ultra no hairworks at 30 fps. Sometime hits 40 fps.

But, I have a weak sauce 960. With a 980Ti, I guess it's around the 50 to 60fps mark. Definitely won't have solid 60fps but it'll bounce around the 50 to 60 fps range.

Ultra no Hairworks

                                      Low/Avg

Core i7 4790K -            65.0/84.4
Core i5 4690K –           52.0/79.2
Core i3 4130 –             38.0/68.9
G3258 at 4.5GHz OC – 27.0/63.8
FX 8350 –                     56.0/75.2
FX 6300 –                     45.0/69.6

Looks like the difference is about 10 fps.

I tweaked the shit out of witcher 3 and runs constant 60fps+ HW off in 1440p. Native Ultra its up to 90fps.

You can safe Money @ CPU, Mainboard, RAM

Do that and spend the safed Cash on a custom GTX980Ti.

At 1080p it'll do pretty well but that CPU is not really needed
