Linux server

So i typed this sudo apt-get autoremove and now the server got so screwed up that first, sudo dident work, SSH got uninstalled FTP got uninstalled. so i had to get out of the chair walk to the server, to then restart it. and now it doesent boot.

Help?

Then ill losse my files, so no that won't work untill i manage to recover my files (if you find my other post its about that)

hmm sata to usb adapter + other pc?

In your other thread you said you had an external enclosure, thats what it is. You plug in the sata drive in and it acts like a portable hard drive.

yea, then i cannot assign a drive letter, there is no button for it, only help and delete

Once you have disconnected your drive and used the enclosure, install Ubuntu onto a USB stick/dvd and load it. This way you can open your hard drive you wish to backup off the USB Live Environment and then move it to a safe location for later restoration.
