Hey guys I am planning a new build I am not sure when I'm going to build it yet.

My goal for the build is to have a really small form factor portable PC which I can take anywhere with me. The only games it needs to run are CS:GO, Portal 2, or GTA San Andreas

I am not sure on budget I am asking for build lists to get an idea of the costs. It doesn't need a monitor or peripherals.

Thanks in advance

500 ish dollars, A10 7870k with 2400mhz ram and a 120xl cooler, feel free to drop the cooler and save some money if the budget is lower, I had the build lying around.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Get a case with a PSU already in it, perhaps try to look for a barebones or premade pc for cheap and slap a 750 ti in it.

You're not asking to run very demanding games, but I would suggest at least 8gb of ram, 4gb is just a headache to use.

Here's a build I made for you. The case is really up to you, you can spend up to $100 on it. I went with a smaller HDD, since the games you listed aren't large, and this will be your 'lan box'.

Motherboard: ASRock H97M Anniversary Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($67.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Team Elite 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($35.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card  ($124.83 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA 400W ATX Power Supply  ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $388.56

You can always swap the games on the HDD. You might want dual channel ram, that's up to you, but with 1 stick you can upgrade later.
This MOBO, cooler, and CPU can overclock so you're good to go with that, but keep the PSU at 400w+.
A Smaller case will take an SFX PSU, so maybe if you go that route, get PSU + case combo.
The GPU i selected is the very same I use and this card IS TINY. It's a single slot card that be used at half height!
