Literally, do not worry about it.

The benefits your health will reap from you using equipment you get pleasure from using outweighs the risks of radiation problems.

You'd have to live very remote to avoid all forms of radiation. Sounds boring to me.

microwaves and CRT tvs have a higher chance of killing you than a computer with "radiation"

unless we're talking about fires

Is this a thing?

Here's a quote from my Midland 5w GMRS radio manual on page 3:

To control your exposure and ensure compliance with the general population or uncontrolled environment exposure limits, transmit no more than 50% of the time.

So, does that allow me to transmit at 5w continuously for 12 hours a day? You decide! Btw, ham operators transmit far, far beyond 5w and they're still get old and well-chatty. Impromptu CQ contest anyone? [shitty, garbled pile-up transmission]..."I read you 599, good luck." [records lies]. I hope at least 1 of you are on the floor laughing right now.

P.S. I'm technically not even allowed to transmit anymore because my GMRS license has since expired, and the FCC wants $80 for a renewal, despite the fact that these radios are readily available on Walmart shelves ready to PTT sans any license.

P.P.S. MFW when I see "36-mile range*" on the package, walk half a block away, hear nothing:

You know this is actually true. The Russians decided to upgrade their systems with Windows 1.0, which at the time was only 5 months old so they thought, what the hey, what could go wrong?

Now joking aside again, I bet most of you don't know about the 3 divers of Chernobyl. Things could have been a lot worse for Europe. A lot, lot worse.

Not to mention also killing the 2.4GHz wifi band in the process. Jeez, can't you re-heat your stupid Totino's pizza rolls in the damn oven instead?

I wonder if these people just took bodies and set them in front of a computer for a few hours and asked how they felt, without getting a full medical history beforehand. smh...

I'm guessing that they didn't think of the fact that all these are not indicative symptoms of using a computer, but rather sitting still in one place for a hours on end with little to no activity. Have a bunch of people spend all day just sitting in a chair in a long term study, of course they're going to be depressed, have headaches, eventually if you sit in a chair not moving for long enough you'll have asthma, etc. Lol this is dumb. I would like to see them use a control if they actually even tested this. Sit people in a chair all day, half by a computer and half in an empty room.
