a real gamer plays on a Super high end gaming rig at the lowers possible settings with AA maxed out... that way he can see all of the enemy movements and doesnt get frame rate lagg... i used to do that with a 120hz screen when i was sponsored by BenQ

make sure ur GPU is set to quality not performance

Ive not even touched the catalyist control with my current gpu, im sure the default setting arent causing this, some searching around shows that this happens to amd cards for some reason and then wandows has some compatibility issues. Ive giving this issue 30 minutes, if its not solves then its going to the naughty corner.

Its working now yay, turns out that my gpu is trying to force AA and the java script is forcing the AA to turn off. The two go pissed and removed a line where the AA is. Just go into the ini file, sort it out manually.

Disable AA for minecraft in the config of your GPU and you should be good to go.

I haven't played minecraft since alpha but why would you want AA on a game like minecraft, maybe that's just me.

the game is littered with jaggies. i dont mind the blockiness of the game but its nice to have a straight edge.

It might just be me because the last time i played the game was when there wasn't really a graphics menu of any kind, too bad i lost my info for my old email that was connected to my minecraft account.

You used the hackish way, but know the GPU actually support to do it without ini tinkering.

What about the people who turn all the settings up as high as their computer con reasonably run them and use a 6ohzz IPS monitor because a gorgeous looking game gives them more immersion?

Are they not "real gamer(s)" ???
