im just wondering if its Worth Upgrading to 4790k from i7 930???     "or Skylake 6700k kinda Expensive not sure yet"

 

 

yea my i7 930 runs at 2.80 GHZ what if i OC it to 4.0 GHZ, it will be the same as 4790k devil's canyon?

Overclocking your 930 to 4GHz wont give the same performance as a 4790k.

And yes i would totally upgrade.

If you're interested in the features of Skylake get the i7 6700k otherwise just go with Haswell Refresh for the i7 4790k.

well i really dont know what i really gives X-D all i know its DDR4 and it will run fast haha i need to look into it more X-D i just didnt want to pay too much on the DDR4 and Mobo's Price is like over kill

If you're upgrading, go with skylake. Specially for photoshop

i7-930 won't really be a limiting factor for a GTX 670, unless we're talking MMO's, RTS games with lots of units or games like GTA 5/Far Cry 4/Crysis 3

 

 

only problem i never OC in my Life X-D i even buyed a H80i for no reason LOL X-D

 
Then don't. With FSB overclocking, you need to know what you're doing. Those old chips don't have unlockable multipliers.

Better yet, go X99 than Skylake.
