Yes, there is negligible difference between DDR4 and DDR3 in gaming. So no, not needed

Hi everyone, i just want to ask one question. DDR4 is not needed in Gaming right? DDR3 or 4 in gaming is same right?

wont make a difference. DDR3 has similar performance in gaming.

The general rule to follow is,

Higher Frequency = Better for workloads

Lower/Tighter Timings = Better for gaming

That said it makes so little difference it's really not something you should worry about. It's a safe bet to assume that your RAM is fine for gaming unless it's DDR1, and only then because the rest of your system isn't good enough anyway (unless you've got a retro gaming machine).
