CS GO's V-sync is crap

 I turn it on and suddenly i get random bars flashing on my screen - even when I'm loading a map. Not constant but there. Defaq

All DX11 Vsync is crap. It's not actually VSync but a render queue making for atrocious input lag. You don't want it on. Keep in mind this includes Gsync and Freesync since both of these features become VSync under conditions where the framerate exceeds the monitor's refresh rate.

So it's the game's issue? Not my card's issue? I mean - the missing textures ok - alt tabbing but V-sycn causing lines

It don't use it, I just let the game run at 300fps

Just turn off V-Sync and set a FPS cap.

 

In the launch options, which you can edit by going to your Steam Library, right click on CSGO, then properties, then click on "Launch Options" then put in "-freq X -refresh X" without quotes and say what FPS you want. I do 150 for both, not sure why, I just like it that way.
