Palit- never again.

I'd advise all and everyone to stay away from Palit GPUs , at least their 980 lineup , they are cheap and die out almost instantly , i'm RMAing my second one as im writing this . They just die out after one week of normal use , on top of that they're cheaply made compared to my Asus 670 , i mean the palit one is 40% larger and 50% lighter , the plastics feel cheap and the overall construction as well.

That's why you buy from companies like Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, MSI, EVGA and other big brands with good rep.

I've never heard of anyone having problems with the company they're twinned with - Gainward. Gainward seem to be the more premium of the companies line-ups though. The Phantom series GPU's were always very good.

I doubt it , it's the only GPU that's not from a big company that i bought and had a problem. I've owned a plethora of hardware from Asus , Gigabyte and MSI and never had a problem with those.

I have one, not as good as other brands (My Sapphire DualX HD7950 never exceded 60-65c even under OC), during the summer it reached 50c idle 80c load, now 40c idle 75c load.
