Computer black screen

Go to solution Solved by ChrisCross,

Sometimes when i boot my pc the screen doesnt turn on but system runs, to fix it i normally turn the pc off then "wiggle" the dvi cable that goes into my graphics card (GTX 770) and then turn system on and screen runs fine. Also when i do a restart on my pc when it has being working fine the display decides not to turn on after restart. Any suggestions of what could be going wrong would be appreciated :D

try to plug it into your mobo if you can. and new dvi cable

An obvious solution would be to change the dvi cable you are currently using as the cables might be overly 'bent' causing it to malfunction. Wiggling it every time is bad cause you might break the female side of the dvi connection.
