at least someone understands instead of trash talking apple because everyone else talks shit about the company because they're jumping on the bandwagon. smh.

Apple make great phones, not just internally but externally, people slate them because they come at a premium, if people can't afford one then they simply shouldn't buy it, instead of moaning and slating the company.

Been hearing that too.... No idea why Apple would never announce it's a new tri core processor.

 

I still think it's dual core.

 

Pretty sure it's not a dual core with the performance increase quoted because Apple is insanely ahead in IPC to the point where it's hard to increase that.

I've never looked at my iPhone 5S and gone "Blimey I wish I had a 4k screen on this sucker".

 

I've also never been in the middle of sending a text to my boss thinking "Jeeze if this had a 8-cores my text would be even faster to 62mph".

 

I've also never run out of storage, the 32GB is the new 16GB stuff doesn't bother me... My fault if I keep 2000 photos that I never look at on my phone .​

 

And I pay for my phones over contract, so price isn't really an issue there, I have a budget and I stick to it.

 

Problem with Android phones for me, is that there is X different phone models with X specs, and X versions of Android, so I don't know how far you have to look into an app before downloading it to see if it actually works, my experience with Android was short and bitter, my iPhone 4 did not run later stuff, my 5S does, easy!

 

Thinking about it, all my friends have iPhones, my family all have iPhones (no one has an Apple watch I'm pleased to report) and that works in our favour with the calls/texts over Wifi etc.

 

So yeah, I like my iPhone.

Okay. I may have asked this before, but someone please enlighten me.

 

What is so god damn important about a phone's computing hardware? I keep seeing people spec whore over which CPU's the latest and greatest phone is using, but all I do is browse Reddit and other low demanding stuff on my phone. I can't imagine someone would actually need a Qualcom 905 XXX Overclocked Dank Edition in their phone.

Because phone specs can determine how enjoyable a phone is. The more a phone can do the more the user can do, also the better things just look or feel. A better screen is more pleasing to the user then a worse one. A faster processor allow us to play more graphic intense games as well as just making games and other apps such as a photo editing app smoother and faster. That's why specs are important. We want the better camera because it's going to make our pictures look better and be easier to take. A faster processor allow for faster shooting of pictures.

I like android.  i have had my HTC one m8 for almost a year and a half.  No issues.  I upgraded from an iPhone 5s.
