Motherboard: ASRock Z97M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($87.98 @ Newegg) Already ordered, can't change.

Any room for improvement as far as the blue parts go?
I really want a smaller CPU cooler. I am willing to spend up to $50 on it.
As far as overclocking goes, I don't want to super overclock, just want to occasionally when I feel like I'm slowing down.
Also 100th post yay!

Oh for sure! I am planning on upgrading it in the future.

What would you recommend? This PSU is at the top of my PSU budget and has all the features I was looking for.

EVGA B2 which is a better PSU and much cheaper http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

It's the same price since I won't be taking advantage of the rebate. They just aren't worth it to me. But I will do some research on this. the PSU is an important part.

If it's the same price I would still get it instead since it's a better quality PSU

My current specs are:

CPU: LGA 1155 G530 2.4ghz

MOBO: Foxconn H67S

RAM: 8gb DDR3 1600

GPU: MSI LPGTX 750 Ti

PSU: Thermaltake 450w 80+ Bronze

Storage doesn't matter much

This build is a massive upgrade. My next upgrade will be a beefy GPU.

Yeah but it has muuuuuch better efficiency wich will make your electrical bill cost less you see it's a long time investment!

Quality&Value pricing> Efficiency

Besides 80+ Bronze to 80+ Gold isn't a big difference in electrical bill

cpu is a solid choice. check out my cpu overclocking guide for more info; link in my forum signature. you should be able to overclock it to 4.5 or 4.6 ghz on the core.

i know it's more money, but i would get the corsair h60, the Phanteks PH-TC12DX_BK, or the u12s to cool the 4690k for an overclock. the 212 will work, but i'm not sure how well it will work if you bring the core ratio up to 4.5 or 4.6 with a higher vcore like 1.30v. some people say it's fine, some don't. i would ask around.

the psu you chose is just fine and will support sli and or crossfire in the future which is a great option to have. the price is great as well for something that size. here is a review on the psu:

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=393

as you can see, it's very highly rated

edit:

the motherboard you chose is good as well

Maybe not where you live but i live in the center of the one of the most computer active and electicity consuming countries in the world! Let's just say it's not cheap! So for me it would make a difference.

i'd wait for pascal. might as well just save up the money from now until those cards come out and do it big then

Yeah, if can at least PLAY the witcher 3 I will be happy. It looks decent on my current set up even with my dual core, but it just freezes so often it's not worth playing.
