Hey everyone,

So I will be getting an h220 Monday and I was wondering if the stock fans are any good. Should I replace them with some other fans such as noctuas? I am not a huge noise freak but i still want my computer to be quiet. Also, should I have the fans in push or pull. I have a cooler master storm trooper. The rad will go on the top of my case. Should it be used as an intake or exhaust? I plan on having the two front fans as intakes and the rear fan as an exhaust. I think I will put the fans for the rad in pull and as exhaust. I just wanted your opinions. Also do you think I should change my fan layout. I would like to have positive pressure inside the case to reduce dust as much as possible.

Thanks for the help

stock fans are better than the stuff you would get with the H100, of course if you replace the fans you will get better performance, but it's not worth the upgrade
push/pull has no difference in temps, rather it's which one is easier, pull will have a less of a problem when it comes to dust, so put it in pull as an exhaust

The stock fans on the H220 are good but, if you want the best possible temps out of the H220 then get two NGF-12.

In the future consider upgrading to some Scythe gentle typhoons or Noctua NF F12s

I have looked at the gentle typhoons but the problem is I have not been able to find a pwm version. I dont mind not having pwm for case fans but for my cpu cooler I prefer to have pwm.
