Posted September 9, 2015 I would change the CPU cooler to a NZXT x61. 280mm vs the H100i 240mm. I've heard it runs cooler and quieter too. Posted September 9, 2015 Author Curiosity but why 2 1tb's instead of 1 2tb? are you going to Raid it? My plan is to use the SSD and one 1TB HDD for Windows and the remaining 1TB HDD for Hackintosh. I am also planning to get my old 320 GB HDD form my Acer Aspire X3810 for installing Linux. Might reuse the old DVD Drive from my old pc or get a new Blu-Ray one later MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012 w/Core i5 3210M and glorious HD 4000 Graphics Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/446777-new-build-plan-update-2/#findComment-5989113 Share on other sites
 Posted September 9, 2015 overall, it's a good build. the motherboard is really expensive. you could easily get away with a less expensive msi model. what are you going to be using the pc for? edit: yes, price matching with ncix is the best way to do things BigDay Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/446777-new-build-plan-update-2/#findComment-5994420 Share on other sites
