Device Driver error

Running the cd that came with the motherboard... it came up ERROR software not compatible with operating system...  or something like that.

 

downloaded drivers from asus....  only 4 installed the rest.... like 14 others failed for one reason or another.

 

called asus twice...

 

they say its windows 10...   nothing they can do...  idk people  i dont like this

New build..  Asus x99 pro with 5820k...  jus installed windows 10..

 

What am I to do about all these device errors???

google the hardware ID

did you install the mobo drivers?

 

your motherboard usually comes with a driver disk, use that (its fine, honestly...)

well... you're gonna be one or two versions behind on the driver version if you use the disk instead of downloading them...

 

but mehh... i've done some tests on that, it really doesnt matter.

Hmm  no I did not install mobo drivers...  did not know they existed...  thanks

 

have disk but no drive in here  Ill go look at asus site for mobo drivers.
