Cannot Open Adobe Premiere Pro

Go to solution Solved by Sir Asvald,

Long story short I need to render a video for a friend, however whenever I try to open my Adobe CC 2014, it displays this error message: Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again.

So obviously, the first thing I did was check my drivers. I have an AMD Radeon R9 290, and I go to AMD Gaming evolved to check my drivers, and they are in fact up to date. I have tried troubleshooting the program, running in compatibility mode, running as administrator, no matter what I do, the same error will pop up. I have searched the internet trying to fix the problems, yet I have come up with nothing. I was hoping that someone would know what is going on here, because I am at a loss. Thanks.

Try reinstalling the program. If that doesnt work try deleting your current drivers and download them from amd.com cause amd gaming evolved isnt alway accurate.

Double check that in the Catalyst the AMD GPU is default not the on-board Intel integrated.

I have tried all of these methods, and yet it is still not working. I know for sure that my drivers are up to date, because I reinstalled them. Any other ideas?

What does it say when you use GPUSniffer?

Do you know of a way that I could use the onboard graphics? I know it will be slower, but I just need to open it at this point

In Catalyst control panel look for switchable graphics. Click on the link and in there add Premiere Pro and set the mode to Performance mode for the AMD GPU and Power Saving for the Intel Integrated.

Sorry everyone, user error, Abdul's method worked perfectly! Thanks!

No Problem. I had the same issue, and used that method.

For some reason I don't have a Power tab on my catalyst, so I can't find this option.
