Hey guys,

I got 2 EVGA Superclocked+ ACX2.0+ 980 Ti's, and I was wondering if I should overclock them both (running SLI)?

My build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WhyK99 or signature.

Also, I know this isn't in the correct topic, but should I overclock my CPU?

Thanks!

If I need to? No, I don't need to.

If it is the pc in your specs then f yeah, it would be a shame not to.

Yeah, figured that out. How much should I OC it if so?

If you don't need the extra performance then don't bother it's as simple as that

Look at other people's benchmarks and OC's, know you max load temps and voltages, shoot for a 24/7 stable OC, have fun and good luck with the silicone lottery.

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...

If you don't need to, then no it is not necessary.

If all you are doing is gaming at most all you will get is a few more FPS.  Which might not be worth the time, hassle, and (possible) added expense.

IMO overclocking your GPU is always a good idea, while overclocking the CPU can be postponed until it starts to show it's age.

Unless you just want to overclock.  In that case, have at it.
