Hey Guys!

I'm a super noob at Modding, as in I've never done any modding before.... kind of in the middle of a Bluray Stealth Mod but that's it.

I'm wanting to paint my GTX 980's for my black and white build but not sure at all how to go about it. Got any sweet tips? Any and all advice, suggestions, recommendations are very much appreciated. Thanks!

If you use plasti-dip, which I would recommend, you will need washers for putting the 8 larger screws back on without tearing away the plasti-dip.

I painted my own GTX 780 Ti reference cards so... If you have any specific questions you can send me a PM.

Is plasti dip a type of paint or a mod technique?

Plasti-dip is a rubber based spray paint product it makes it possible for you to peel off the coating if you decide to change color or revert back to original.

It's a rubberized coating, you can get it commonly in aerosol form and use it just like spray paint. Unlike paint, plasti-dip can be easily peeled off if you make a mistake or want to remove it, and it will look like it was never there.

Don't cheap out on they paint, either use automotive grade spay paint or plasidip.

Plasitdip is cheap as hell looking. If you going to paint it use actual paint.
