I GET FPS DROPS IN EVERY GAME! (please please please help me)

OKAY FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY IN BF4 BUT WHEN I STARTED GTA V TO PLAY FPS DROPPED TO 4 FPS!

I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO BF3 AND I NOTICE LITTLE FPS DROPS... NOT MUCH BUT STILL IT'S AN FPS DROP!

 

Is my GPU dying or CPU? or RAM?! WTF! I need help! please!

 

EDIT: I HAVE latest drivers!!!

EDIT specs: I3 4150 R9 280X 8 GB of RAM

the MSI 280X had issues with overheating memory - might be something of the sorts. Also VRMs on launch would overheat. Check your GPU's bios.

Not really - unless he's running out of VRAM I wouldn't call stuttering normal.

This guy always has problems, perhaps it's you doing something? like so many apps open in the background that your i3 can't handle it all?

GTA V displays VRAM usage - unless he's dumb enough to go past the limit I wouldn't say it's normal.

maybe is the CPU? an i3 isnt much, but the 280x should hold up

displayed vram usage is not the real world case, I find that gta5 uses more than it tells me, which is quite normal as its not the only thing running on graphics card.

Get Display Driver Uninstaller. Completely uninstall your GPU drivers, and reinstall the new ones

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

I did that like 5 times. didn't help, maybe my GPU or CPU is dying?

everything stable and working correctly out of games? Ram and hard drive have no errors? Any strange bsod. What are temps (load and idle) gpu and cpu please.

No idea - I've been able to go only as far as 2.5GB and that's using VSR 1440p.

Sigh... No it's not. Just open your side panel and check for any dust. Could be overheating.

Most likely - though like I said - MSI 280X launch BioS had overheating VRMs and 2 of the memory modules don't have any cooling (plate doesn't cover them)
