TaskManager shows doble ram usage

i was playing modded minecraft, and the game said that it was only using around 2.5 GB of ram, but the task manager showed that Java was using 5 GB of ram, almost toping my 12 gb of ram (dont know how but i was using 11 gb of ram with only minecraft opened.

Did you try restart the Computer?

 

Windows 10?

 

If so, Memory leak it is.

DIe Task manager, DIE. naa joke have u tried restarting and checking another program for how much ram your using

i have memory leak on so many god damn games, alot of them use 8gb out of my 16gb.

Can you show your Task Manager's Screenshot?

 

Under Processes tab, Click Memory once to sort it.
