Hehe. "Worth it"? Considering its free, yes. I haven't been able to run most with does games very well though.

Great starter linux, although I would go for ubuntu gnome. It's free but is like 2 gigs to download, but you can torrent it.

good support - google and you'll find everything you need, tons of customization, nothing you can't do. Don't bother with WINE, get linux/ubuntu alternatives if you need

Any Linux distro is worth to try out. In some way. Either have small partition for it, some older PC or even live-CD. While its not good enough to be daily OS for me, it has given new life to two older PCs.
