This is my first PC build and I was just checking to make sure everything seems to optimal for what I intend to use it. I will be running autocad and 3d modeling software, movies (not 4k),  along with some games exclusive for pc.  I intend to have duel monitors in time and would like it to last 5-7 years. I have not choosen a GPU yet, as I would like to take your credibal suggestions first. I would like to stay under $1,200.

1-Get a GPU.

2-Get devil canyon or at least skylake.

3-You are spending a load on your memory and storage.

4-You can still get a great PSU at a cheaper price.

Case: NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($62.10 @ SuperBiiz)

I know I am spending a lot on memory and storage, but I figured those components would last forever and could easily be transferred to a new build. I ended up being able to purchase the PSU for $75, which i didn't think was too bad. I dont think i will ever need 850W. Thanks for all the advice!

You don't really need a black drive, might as well just get a cheaper blue to get a better graphic card. Blues are pretty reliable already.

I agree. I already dumped the black and added a blue into my build. The black was probablu over kill
