Probably the worst choice in a video card you can make?

Kevguy

My choice is an amd chipset with MSI being the vendor.

Something like this R9 380...blaaaah!

Ps: this is not a troll.

IMO that was one of linus' fails.

The R7 240 makes way more sense than the 250, not to mention that pairs perfectly LP/AM1 platforms.

The only stupid low end card is the GT 720 range... like... not powerful enough to replace a decent iGPU nor a good choice for broken/burnt old GPUs for the price

This is a signature.

Any MSI AMD card is trash.

MSI generally is good for AMD

why do you say that?

Now ASUS on the otherhand is straight trash with their overheating DirectCU coolers where the pipes don't even touch the GPU because ASUS are lazy people who just used their 780Ti cooler

It's a free country.

But not a free forum, at you can't say "it's a free country" online, because it is not in a country, and it is worldwide. Also stop with the AMD hate the 380 is a good card

the worst choice u can make in a graphics card is to buy a titan-z for example, and 5minutes later hammering it with a concrete hammer ( having saved a while for the money )

pst it doesnt have to be a titan-z , ... control ur rage xD

short said

dont hammer ur gpu, msi or gigabyte it doesnt matter hahahah

Asus AMD cards

My experience hasn't been bad at all with mine to be honest - although I have heard there were problems for some people.

It was okay for lower tdp cards but the 290 and 290X were awful for most people
