it has a dual bios option so thats not a problem

Then by all means flash it - just find a good bios modder :)

hello, i recently reached the core clock limit in afterburner on my 280x at 1500 mhz, is there any way to overclock more? cause temps are 79 C max and i want to push further.

Make adjustments to the cooler, try raising the voltage (you already did i''m assuming).

If it is the temps affecting your ability to OC, you have to find a way to cool your card down.

You can increase airflow in the case also.

i havent reached an oc limit, just how far the software is willing to push

Find a bios modder and ask for help then flash that bios onto your card - beware though, some people brick their cards when messing with it's bios.

Eh..ok?

Because 1500MHz core on 280x is pretty much possible only on LN2. I have never seen anything that high even on custom loop and you said you are just planning on getting custom loop yet.

I see.

I was tinkering with Vapor-X which belong to my friend but I couldn't get it past 1250MHz. And it was already hitting temps in lower 70. No BIOS hack though.

I had no idea this is possible. Nice OC. I guess you won silicon lottery.
