Hello guys,

I'm kinda a hardware newbie (well I'm learning since 3 or 4 weeks, better than nothing) so, I would need some help to choose the "best" case available for my following build (a friend and my poor knowledge helped me)  :

Case : ?

CPU : i7 6700k

GPU : Asus GTX 980TI Strix

Mobo : Asus Maximus VIII Hero

RAM : 2 x 8GO G.Skill RipJaws V 3000mhz CL15

CPU Cooler : Noctua NH-D15

HDD : Seagate Barracuda 2TO

SSD (games) : Samsung 850 PRO 512GO

SSD (OS) : Samsung 850 PRO 128GO

PSU : Corsair HX750i

Fans Case : ?

So, about the case :

- I don't want to use watercooling for the moment (I know the pros & cons, but I'll will try later with more knowledge and experience).

- Airflow/Noises > Skin (a good skin and a window would be bonuses).

- 50-500€, I can spend more depending on the quality of the case and necessity.

- I can buy case fans, that is not a problem.

First, I was thinking about a Thermaltake X9, but I think it would be too much without using watercooling. Then I was thinking about a case which supports a 90° motherboard orientation, like the Raven RV05, but I read that it is bad for the GPU coolers ( http://www.overclock.net/t/900251/gpu-coolers-that-actually-work-in-90-rotation-ft02-rv02 ).

So I'm a bit lost haha. Please let me know if you have any opinion, suggestion or advice.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

PS : I'm not a native english speaker so excuse me if you find some mistakes in my topic.

How about the define s from fractal design. Great for watercooling and aircooling plus a big window to show off your rig.

Thanks.

They are practically the same case. The r5 has has hard drive cages, and 5.25 inch bays along with a smaller window and less water cooling options.
