Hi guys, I'm planning a new pc around 1200$.

I was looking for this build:

- nanoxia deep silence 3

- thermalright true spirit rev A

- xfx 650w

- 390 or 970?

- ssd crucial Mx200 256GB

- HDD WD Blue 1TB

- ram ddr4 2x4GB Ballistix sport.

Now, the doubt is which cpu and motherboard should I get for skylake with this budget?

I'll play with my Asus Mx279H 1080p. Overclock? Yes but later when the stock clock will be a bottleneck for my gpu.

Any suggest or thoughts please?

Sorry for my grammar [emoji29]

The motherboard below (in a build I'd probably go with assuming you're solely gaming) should be fine for a small overclock. If you're going to be streaming, editing or anything skylake isn't the way I'd go at this budget though.

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler  ($74.89 @ OutletPC)

Motherboard: MSI Z170A PC MATE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($109.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($89.75 @ OutletPC)

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Video Card  ($334.98 @ Newegg)

Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($49.99 @ Micro Center)

Total: $1054.07

Any Z170 mb can do a decent OC

But with the extra price you get decent audio in some mobo

Onboard WifI in others

Better SLI Support

OC intended Circuit design(For eg Maximus Vi Extreme from the Haswell era for extreme OC'ing)

But If you don't need any of that

Go for a cheap Mobo that is Z170 which can give you a decent OC

Thanks and yes it's only for gaming.

Keep in mind that I included Thermalright Air Cooling because I live in Italy and here some components are more expensive than yours.

An I56600k costs around 259-279€ and the same difference for the others, so I need to save up some components like Air Cooling or motherboard assuming that I'm going to a small overclock.

What motherboard should I get for a good audio?
