Music For Streaming?

I've been streaming a lot more lately, and I was wondering what everyone's most "liked" music/playlists are.

 

I like any kind of music, but viewers are usually tough to deal with their "tastes".

 

I'd really like suggestions if you have any!

I listen to Eluveitie and ensiferum and they are a mix of metal and folk music. Testament and amon amarth if you can get a way some growling metal. Amaranthe is sort of a mix between pop and metal. 2 steps from hell is never a bad idea, they have a great mix of style of music that can go with any game and make it seem that more epic.

If I were to stream and be a conversationist with viewers I'd opt out of songs with vocals but you can never please everyone.

Screw the viewers dude, if it's not your job why bother with their tastes?

 

Just play what you like and hopefully you'll establish a fan base with similar tastes. When I used to watch streams nothing infuriated me more than a streamer using some generic pandora playlist that plays the same 10 songs everytime I check the stream. What is more, every other streamer was using Pandora and ended up with the same crappy dubstep, generic dnb, or stale rock music.

yeah thats what I'm afraid of. I like pandora but it's no different than the radio, it loops almost all the songs like every 1-2hours :/

Everyone has different tastes so you can't really please everyone. What you can do is play some epic classical music since no one really minds that.

I have an decent appreciation for pretty much all music but classical music just takes the cake :) Playing that will get your more viewers out of curiosity than anything!

Like I said earlier just play 2 steps from hell

 

 

This is a mix of different songs they have and the guy has 2 more 1 hr mixes.

 

I would really highly recommend the albums invincible and archangel also

www.twitch.tv/darrenlays  I really needa work on fixing my mic, I have a blue yeti but in stream it's SO quiet, but if I turn it up people yell at me and say it's to loud :/

 

It also makes me sound really nasally and I don't sound like that at all IRL ;/
